March 3rd - Vote Yes on Prop 13

Millions of California students attend school in rundown, unhealthy facilities that pose obstacles to learning and overall well-being. On March 3, voters have the opportunity to approve school facilities bond measure 13, the Public Preschool, K-12, and College Health and Safety Bond Act of 2020, which would provide $15 billion for school facilities — $9 billion of which would be available for preK-12 schools. Coinciding with the distribution of mail-in ballots, Californians for Safe Schools & Healthy Learning has released the first in a series of “Yes on Prop 13” videos. The video features firefighter Charles Lightfoot III talking about the need to fix classrooms by removing hazardous materials and ensuring schools are equipped for the next natural disaster. Learn more school facilities bond measure 13 »
