Websites Elementary Students Use in School

Students will be using a variety of websites throughout the school year. These are used to help each with a variety of different subjects: math, reading, science, history, or technology.

Students can log in to these sites at home or the school Library for additional educational support. Most websites are compatible with use on a laptop or tablet.

Reading/Language

  • Benchmark - HMH -

    An innovative, comprehensive Reading/Language Arts program built to address key shifts in curriculum and instruction to meet the rigor and expectations of standards.

  • Renaissance -

    Students learn to read closely with built-in instructional skills and practice activities that give them the opportunity to read, cite, write, and quiz.

  • NWEA- Assessment program to evaluate the early reading, enables teachers to efficiently measure oral reading fluency, foundational skills, and reading comprehension – with one 20-minute assessment

Math

  • Go Math- Think Central -

    ThinkCentral is an all-in-one learning site that provides access to digital books, activities, readers, and more for the Go Math series.

  • Study Island -

    Study Island is a leading academic software provider of standards-based assessment, instruction, and test preparation e-learning programs.

Music

  • QuaverEd - The curriculum offers a rich variety of animated songs with interactive scores, and videos on musical elements, instruments, historical eras, musical styles, and games. Also included are Quaver Musicals and Choral Resources.

Social/Emotional Learning

  • Ripple Effects - Expert system technology uses natural selection patterns to deliver the most relevant set of evidence-based, motivational counseling, SEL skill-building, behavioral interventions, and social empowerment practices to each learner, based on personal concerns.

Independent Study

  • Acellus - Acellus Academy is an accredited online K-12 school that utilizes the same Acellus Learning Accelerator technology used by thousands of schools across the nation.
